A declassified FBI teletype from December 1948 regarding a 'flying disk' complaint. The document consists of a single page of typewritten text with administrative stamps, handwritten notations, and a routing slip on the right margin. Three very small, localized redactions (black bars) obscure individual words within the body text, but the document is otherwise fully legible and describes the investigation of a suspected UFO that was determined to be a toy kite.

O documento consiste em uma única página de texto datilografado com carimbos administrativos, anotações manuscritas e uma guia de encaminhamento na margem direita. Três rasuras (redactions) muito pequenas e localizadas (barras pretas) obscurecem palavras individuais no corpo do texto, mas o documento está, de outra forma, totalmente legível e descreve a investigação de um suposto UFO que foi determinado como sendo uma pipa de brinquedo.
