Disambiguation: Brigadier General George Francis Schulgen (1900–1955), U.S. Army Air Forces officer. NOT to be confused with other Schulgens in military or civilian service.

Brigadier General George Francis Schulgen (April 23, 1900 – February 16, 1955) was a career U.S. Army Air Forces officer who served during World War II in various command and staff positions. In July 1947, as Chief of the Air Intelligence Requirements Division at the Pentagon, he initiated a formal investigation into the 1947 flying disc sightings and requested FBI assistance in locating and questioning witnesses. On October 28, 1947, three months after the Roswell incident, Schulgen issued a classified memorandum to General Henry H. Arnold describing the physical characteristics and apparent capabilities of the recovered craft, notably suggesting it might be 'a manned craft of unknown origin' or potentially 'interplanetary.' He retired from the Air Force on December 31, 1948, and died unexpectedly at his home in Michigan on February 16, 1955.

Desambiguação: Brigadier General George Francis Schulgen (1900–1955), U.S. Army Air Forces officer. NOT to be confused with other Schulgens in military or civilian service.
